About Me

Put My Experience to Work For You

A great thank you to all of my wonderful clients, I am pleased to receive a Sales Achievement Award for 2015 from Macdonlad Realty, West Vancouver office.

I recognize that selling or buying a home is one of the most important decisions you'll make in your life. Your home may be your largest asset and investment; this could be the biggest financial move you've ever made. I believe you deserve the best representation to ensure your home provides you with financial health and wealth.

My experience in real estate, combined with my negotiation skills and knowledge of the local Vancouver real estate market, enables me to offer you a high caliber of advocacy, guidance and assistance. I listen closely to my Buyers and Sellers and translate their needs and desires into an effective, practical system designed to achieve these unique goals.

I am proud to be a member of Macdonald Realty Ltd., which is an entirely B.C. owned and operated company since 1944. Macdonald Realty was named the largest brokerage firm in Canada in 2009, with a total sales volume of $4.7billion, and in 2010.

Born and raised in Kobe, Japan, I attended a missionary school from kindergarten to high school. Upon graduation from high school, I spent my first year of university at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Ca. and returned to Japan to continue my studies at Sophia University in Tokyo.

After working 13 years in multinational companies in Japan and Alberta, Canada, I relocated to B.C. to join a Japanese real estate holding company to rezone and subdivide a large property. With the vision and support of the late Mayor Copeland and the staff at Burnaby City Hall, this subdivision served to rejuvenate the Edmonds/Kingsway corridor.

I also worked for private Japanese schools to create programs for their students at various school districts and private institutions in B.C. I have provided support for over 300 international students and homestay families from Abbotsford to West Vancouver.

Always interested to learn, I started Mandarin lessons to add to my fluency in English, Japanese and Cantonese. Health is an integral part of our life and yoga keeps me energized.

The North Shore has been home for Tom and our family since 1993. Our two daughters attended St. Anthony's School in West Vancouver, and St. Thomas Aquinas High School in North Vancouver.

Having lived and worked in Vancouver for 18 years, I have become exceptionally well-versed in this area and neighborhood knowledge. Let me help you discover your next home. Fluent in English, Japanese and knowledge of Cantonese, I am committed to provide you with a personalized, professional real estate service to achieve your financial goal.

Call me today and put my experience to work for you!
